“what is it exactly that the VP does every day?”
Sarah Palin, GOP VP Candidate 2008
That’s a valid question. Shouldn’t a candidate for a job ask what the job entails?
BTW, Can you answer it?
I am not sure what a VP does either, but it really doesn’t matter because her motherly experience will guide her through anything that this world has to offer. No one is more capable of overcoming challenge than a mother of 5 .
ROFL. That was good Chris!!! Are you sucking up to Mary Ann? She can be on the next GOP ticket in four years, only as the presidential candidate — not only is she the mother of 5 (highly entertaining and wonderful) children – she was on the SCHOOL BOARD! I think she was even the President for a while – clear Executive experience. Mom, lets start working on your campaign slogan!
JB – Of course, but politics is not my business. I would not hire someone for an executive position if they came in asking what the entailed. I expect them to have enough experience to know.
I would not hire anyone who *didn’t* ask what the job consisted of.
Mom’s a Republican?
I think Palin was wondering what the job description was because she wouldn’t be interested in a job that had no responsibilities.
But aside from breaking ties in the Senate, I’m still not sure what the answer to the question is.
What does the Vice President do? http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=481752
And yes, last I knew she was a registered republican.
