He’s so Awesome!

CHICAGO, Feb. 13 — Twenty-four days into his presidency, Barack Obama recorded last night a legislative achievement of the sort that few of his predecessors achieved at any point in their tenure.

In size and scope, there is almost nothing in history to rival the economic stimulus legislation that Obama shepherded through Congress in just over three weeks. And the result — produced largely without Republican participation — was remarkably similar to the terms Obama’s team outlined even before he was inaugurated: a package of tax cuts and spending totaling about $775 billion.

Yeah, doubling the national debt in a few days is a real victory, you J-schooled morons.  Wipe your noses, they’re all brown.

I’m starting to feel bad for some of these journalists. They will probably be out of work within a year or two as the big left wing papers go bankrupt – they should at least try to hang on to a little dignity.

Or does the “stimulus” contain an allotment for government bailout of the major media too? I don’t know because nobody had time to read it before it was rushed through.

Grauniad journos are already calling for a ‘national endowment for journalism’.

‘Cause no one can do investigative reporting but trained newspaper journos, don’tcha know.

The self-preservation instinct is pretty strong, even in elitists.

“National Endowment for Journalism” is kind of awkward sounding. They should just call it “The Ministry of Truth”.
