A Busy Weekend
Let’s see, the parents came to visit, Mom’s 70th brthday, a gallery opening, Mother’s Day, our 24th anniversary and a hike in the woods.

Objets d’Art or Scrap Steel
You decide.
The first three are all old railroad spikes. “To Serve Man” (Twighlight Zone fans will get it) is scrap expanded metal left over from the workbenches at the Green Energy Park, scrap rebar, old bicycle chains, and the ‘binding’ on the placemat is leftover cutoffs from a recent job. The ‘not a knife’ is not a knife because it’s mild steel and not hardened. It’d make a damn cool letter opener though. My apologies to Monsieur Magritte for borrowing and modifying his line about the pipe.
