Aw, you know, that’s just Joe being Joe. For some reason he also thinks the Governor of New York should have gone on non-existent television in 1929 to address the nation about the stock market crash. And he’s from Scranton too!
Now, if he had bungled a question about something like the so-called “Bush Doctrine”, that would be a big deal. I’m still not sure exactly what that means, but I think the term was coined by an opinion columnist a few years back, so it must be important.
I just tried looking it up on good ol’ wikipedia, and sure enough, it doesn’t have a clear meaning and what meaning it does have has changed over the years:
